The La Malinche project was initiated by a reading of Franco 'Bifo' Berardi's And: A Phenomenology of the End where he uses La Malinche as an allegory for our position with the advent of the Internet Age. The project is embedded into a larger body of social media based work on instagram. I traveled through Mexico exploring the lexical, connotative and aesthetic drift of La Malinche.
